Bollywood ‘King’ Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen on big screens in Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’, is all busy these days with his first release of the year, Rohit Shetty’s directorial, ‘Dilwale’.
The dashing superstar happens to be in news all over from past few days following the big clash at box office between his film ‘Raees’, and his good friend, superstar Salman Khan’s release ‘Sultan’. As both the films are slated for release on eve of Eid in 2016.
When asked about the same to Salman, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor replied, “We feel that if both these films come on Eid next year, there is enough time to build enough theatres to accommodate both of them. This will only make the industry grow.”
“For a country like ours, we need at least 20,000 to 25,000 theatres”. Added the actor.
When SRK was asked about the same at an event, the ‘Chennai Express’ actor said, “There are 365 days in a year which amounts to 54 Fridays. And there are bound to be clashes. The business will get divided, but Salman and I are such good friends that we have decided on doing everything together including releasing the movies together.”
Talking about 'Rees', the film will have SRK as a boot legger. Whereas in 'Sultan', Salman will be seen in as a wrestler.
