It is today here in Mumbai Information and broadcasting minister Manish Tewari presented Dadasaheb Phalke award to Pran at his home in Mumbai.The minister visited his residence to present him the award as Pran could not travel to Delhi to receive the award due to health reason Although it has been a tradition that the winner has to go to Delhi to receive the award, it may probably be for the first time that an artiste received his award at his homeThe I &B ministry and Pran's family had together decided that since he cannot travel because of his health does not permit him so the committee would come home to give him the award.
