As of now Sanjay Gupta’s busy schedule has wrapped him with his directorial debut Shoot Out @ Wadala.
Mahesh is not only a friend to Sanjay, he is also a superb film maker, says Sanjay. He is happy to rope in with Manjrekar for a film that to in Hindi. His previous directed ‘Kaksparsh’ in Marathi is a mark of excellence, Added Sanjay.
Mahesh Manjrekar stepped forward and said, "The film will be based on human relationships and is set against a period backdrop.
Why did you suddenly disappear from Hindi movie and venture into Marathi. To this Mahesh replied, "Honestly, at some point, I would even like to make a Hindi version of my recent Marathi film Kaksparsh. There was a time in Hindi cinema when too many remakes of South Indian films were happening. That is not my type of cinema. However, after Paan Singh Tomar, Kahaani and Vicky Donor, things are looking pretty different. I am glad."
Well it would be a great opportunity to see a versatile director making a comeback. But this time, with a bang and a new thought.
