On Tuesday, Anil Kapoor and Neena Gupta took part in Ensures Dream Survey’s panel discussion. Here, they discussed about fitness health and parenthood. During the event, Anil Kapoor stressed down the importance to have good health and added that life, career and health is a marathon.
He said, “Being healthy and fit is investment of years. Overnight you cannot achieve your fitness goals. People should divide their life and even their career; they burn themselves out for short period of time to get the desired result. They should realize that life, career and health is marathon and it is not 100 meter race”.
He added, “You can’t be delusional about yourself; financially and physically. Most of the time people push themselves. It is necessary to push our self and raise the bar constantly but the first priority should have the best where health is concerned and what you consume every day. There are things which will satisfy your taste buds but you have to take decision when it comes down to your health. People should invest in their health rather than buying other materialistic things in life because I feel health is wealth. If you are healthy and happy then life is fantastic. People can achieve their personal and professional ambitions if their fit and healthy”.
Anil also revealed that his son Harshvardhan Kapoor gives him knowledge about signing films and the amount of money he should demand for it. “He also tells me how much money I should ask for and how to work a deal. He tells me not to let go of a deal. And I ask him if he is saying this to me because he wants the money really, or wants me to do well, because ultimately the money is going to come to all three of them (his children Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan Kapoor). He is the one who behaves quite elderly, not only to me, but to all of us at home, even when he is the youngest in the family.”
On the work front, Anil Kapoor has wrapped up the shoot of Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan, in which he would be seen sharing the screen space with Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty.
