Barefoot To Goa is an upcoming emotional drama film directed by Pravin Morchhale. The film is about two children who set out on a journey to visit their ailing grandmother and bring her back to stay with them. The subject deals with how there is an erosion of values and how selfishness has crept into our societies and into ourselves.

Though the film is a non-commercial film without any big stars, the film has managed a coup in terms of the singer they have signed for the film.

Legendary singer K J Yesudas who has sung in various languages including Hindi, Malayalam, English, Russian, Arabic, Latin and almost all the major languages spoken in India, has agreed to sing a song in this film. This was confirmed by actress Esha Deol who came to support the film at the trailer launch.

Yesudas hasn’t sung any songs recently and it will be a comeback of sorts for him with this venture. Some of his songs like ‘Gori tera gaon’ and ‘Surmayee ankhiyon mein’ were extremely popular. He has been honoured with the Padma Bhushan and is also the recipient of the National Award seven times.
