The Tennis ace Leander Paes and model and lifestyle coach Rhea Pillai had become the most talked about couple of 2003. Even today they are very much in limelight. But the reasons are different. Today the reason is their break up.
Few days back, Leander Paes, 40, has reportedly approached the Mumbai police with a criminal complaint against his live-in partner Rhea Pillai, 48, alleging that she may cause harm to their eight-year-old daughter and forcibly take her out of the country. The tennis great also filed a petition in the family court in Bandra on Saturday seeking guardianship of the child.
According to sources, Paes met Mumbai police commissioner Rakesh Maria on Friday. Paes reportedly submitted an application to Maria complaining that his daughter was in danger and he fears that Pillai may forcibly take her out of the country as she is a British citizen and a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card holder,
According to sources, on April 26, Paes was to travel to the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi to receive the Padma Bhushan. Paes wanted his daughter to accompany him. But Pillai allegedly refused to allow their daughter to travel to Delhi.
After this incident, Paes got worried and alarmed about the safety of his daughter and approached the police, the source informed.
The matter was worsen on Thursday night (8th May) when Rhea returned to their family home in Bandra and found herself locked out. She also filed a complaint against Leander at Bandra Police Station.
As per Rhea, Leander and his mother broke into her house, put her clothes in boxes and threw them out. Leander is a Publicity Hungry person who is not fit to take care of his own child.

Leander has instructed his staff to prepare the guest room where his parents normally stay for their arrival and Rhia had placed some of her artifacts there. This police complaint seems like a bid on Rhea's part to create controversy and gain sympathy and stop Leander's parents from staying.
