Taking inspiration from Anand Gandhi's film Ship of Theseus, filmmaker Kiran Rao decided to donate organs. Kiran is very much inspired by Anand Gandhi’s 'Ship of Theseus' that puts spotlight on the subject of organ donation. Rao is said to have thought of donating her body for medical research but after watching Ship of Theseus, she's now planning to donate her organs.

The pledge will be taking place at PVR Juhu - Lavina, Spice today. Director Anand Gandhi & actor Sohum Shah are also going to contribute their organs in the same event.
