Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, he has given us some great love stories. Now he is back again to don the hat of a director after a hiatus of 5 years. Yes, we are referring to Karan Johar who will be announcing his next directorial today at 11 am.

Sharing a video with behind the scenes from his movies, he wrote, "This is the beginning of a new journey & my way back home - all at once. It’s time to go back to my favourite place, it’s time to create some eternal love stories from behind the lens. A very special story, truly immersed in the roots of love and family. Announcing my next film tomorrow at 11am, watch this space for more!"

In the video, he said, "Personally, my primary passion always lies behind the camera. Telling stories, creating a world filled with a multitude of colours, eternal music, emotions...I feel it's time to go back to my favourite place, on set. And to create what I adore the most, love stories."

Karan's last directorial was 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' which was released in 2016. In the interim, he has directed a segment for two web anthologies 'Lust Stories' and 'Ghost Stories'.

Today at 11am, he would share the details of his next directorial which is a love story immersed in the roots of love and family.
