
Bollywood Hunk John Abraham happens to be all busy shooting for his projects back to back as the actor has three releases in coming year. The actor recently took his time off from his busy schedule to attend the music launch of Bengali film ‘Open Tee Bioscope’ which is been produced Shoojit.
At the launch the actor had all praises for Shoojit, "Shoojit has the knack of backing the right subject. As a National award winner he is, for me, the best director from Bengal,"
Talking about 'Open Tee Bioscope', Shoojit's second Bengali production, traces the roots of north Kolkata as seen in early '90s.
John said, "I love to watch its trailers. 'Open Tee Bioscope' is a coming of age film... It's very well shot.”
He further said, "There had been lots of stories merging in a single strand and I must say Shoojit has backed the right person as director, Anindyo Chatterjee. I guess he can be the next best possible thing from Bengal,"
The duo had worked together in John’s first production ‘Vicky Donor’ which was directed by Shoojit, The film also went on to win National Award for best film for wholesome entertainment.
Talking about John’s next ‘1911’ which will be directed by Shoojit, the actor said, "As a football fanatic I love to do sports films. Now it is upto Shoojit to decide when the shooting of 1911 will begin. It's his call."
The film will be based on Mohun Bagan's victory against East Yorkshire Regiment in 1911 when the club became the first native team to have won the IFA Shield.
“I think people of this generation need to know about the exploits of our heroes on field in those days,” added John.
