Beautiful actress Richa Chadda who was last seen on big screens in ‘Tamanchey’, is all busy these days with ‘Cabaret’, is all busy these days with promotions of her upcoming release ‘Masaan’.

The talented actress who  is very well known for her performances in ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’, ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ series, ‘Fukrey’ among others in an interview to media stated that she does feel it’s wonderful time for actresses in Bollywood , as these days there are numerous scripts written for actresses.

As Richa said, “It is a good time for female actors because there is greater acceptability. I also feel meaty roles are being written for actresses. I loved ‘Queen’, ‘NH10′ and ‘Piku’… Great roles for women are there right now,”

Richa is all excited to be part of a film like ‘Maasan’ whose story is set in Varanasi, as she feels it is high time films utilised modest backdrops.

“It is about time that films with modest settings and real characters got made because in the past we have seen movies set in foreign locations, big cities… Now it is the time to see the more rooted stories,” said the actress.

About ‘Maasan’, apart from Richa, the film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Sanjay Mishra and Shweta Tripathi among others.
