Saif Ali khan and Shah Rukh Khan were last seen together in a full fledged roles in Karan johar’s ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ which was released way back in 2003, after ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ both the actors were seen together in Shah Rukh’s film ‘Om Shanti Om’ where Saif was seen a small role in the title song from the film.
In an interview to media when asked about sharing same screen space with Shah Rukh the actor replied that he would prefer to play the lead in his own productions rather than play second fiddle to a big star name.
However, the actor stated that he doesn’t have any ill feeling for SRK, as he said, "I have loved working with SRK whenever I have - Filmfare awards hosting, Kal Ho Naa Ho, 'Temptations' tours, Seagram's ad!”
"He is an amazing guy. He was also one of the few people at my wedding from the industry. I look up to him and he has influenced a lot of my thoughts on set." Added the actor.
Talking about the comment which he earlier stated to the media, the actor said, "What I meant was I don't see myself doing a film with him unless I have a really interesting role, and most of the films he does revolve around him - and rightly so!
"I'm upset with the reports about SRK. I have a lot of respect for him. I have worked with him and I know what his contribution is - invaluable!"
