"I was giving lots of auditions at the time and Mastram happened to work out." Tara Alisha Berry

Actress Tara Alisha Berry made her Bollywood debut with Mastram, and she finally got her fame and fan following after that. While on Mastram, as is the norm the film was bashed critically, but turned to be quite a decent commercial success.

Meanwhile, the sexy Tara has moved on to her next project, the Jimmy Shergill and Vijay Raaz starrer Gun Pe Done.

When asked the actress share her feelings to be a part of the industry. She adds, "I feel very very blessed. Acting is my passion and I feel very lucky to have figured that out early on and that I am able to do what I love. 

When we asked the actress about Mastram as it got a lot of good reviews was that a planned launch! Tara Alisha shares, "Not at all! I was giving lots of auditions at the time and Mastram happened to work out. Sameer Sharma the director of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana is a friend and he recommended me to Akhilesh. I went to meet him, auditioned and he immediately offered me the part. I read the script and just absolutely loved the film and my part in it so I said yes immediately."

Talking about the next film with jimmy actress share that how land up the offer. She adds, "A common friend knew one of the assistant directors working on the film and that they were looking for someone to play the female protagonist. I went to meet the director, Abhik Bhanu and he liked me immediately. Later I found out that he saw me through the glass door of the office and felt that I was the perfect person to play Razia! When I found out I would be getting the chance to work with actors like Jimmy Shergill, Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz etc I was overjoyed. I have been very lucky because these are our some of the best actors in the industry and I have learnt a lot from them."

Concluding, Tara Alisha shares her dream of working with the directors. She names, "Anurag Dada (again.. hehehe), Wes Anderson, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl, Vikram Bhatt, Anurag Kashyap, Anand L Rai, Imtiaz Ali, Ayan Mukherjee, Zoya Akhtar, Nikhil Advani, Soojit Sircar... the list can go on and on!"
