Shahid Kapoor the new brand ambassador for Reebok attended the Reebok ‘Fit To Fight’ Awards 2017 on Thursday night in Mumbai. During media interaction at the red carpet, Shahid said he wishes Misha would grow up in a world where women are treated equal as men if not better. 

 

While present at the Reebok Fit to Fight women's initiative awards, Shahid said, "When Reebok came to me and told me they wanted me to be that brand ambassador, I  was very impressed, by their entire campaign and how they look at fitness in a holistic manner. I think it's amazing that brand as big as Reebok is choosing to support an initiative like this. I really believe women have always been empowered. The most important people in my life have been women. I was born and brought up by a single mother, my mom was the strongest person I knew. I never ever felt as a kid that there was any difference between men and women. To me, there were strong people and weak ones. 

 

He added, "I think this is a great cause and a great initiative is great the Reebok has taken it up. That's the world I want Misha to grow up in where women are treated as equals if not better because I think women are better than men."

 

Talking about Misha and how she has changed his world he said, "It's hard to describe I just feel happy and thankful and grateful and life is amazing. I am just grateful to God that I have Misha she is the most beautiful thing in my life. Every man should wish for a daughter. What a daughter can do for a father I don't think anyone else can."

 

Shahid was asked when will their upcoming film Padmavati is releasing the actor flashed a smile and said: "when I know, I will let u know."

 

The actor was last seen in 'Rangoon' directed by Vishal Bhardwaj co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in 2017. He currently waits for the release of the most controversial film of the year Padmavati.
