I have been successful in the film industry all because of directors and writers who has worked with me says Aamir khan

Aamir Khan usually doesn’t attend any award functions but it was rare sight on Monday when Aamir khan and Dangal film’s director Nitesh Tiwari attended 75th Master Dinanath Mangeshkar awards in Mumbai. Aamir Khan honoured Vishesh Puraskar with for his hit film Dangal in Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards. While sharing his thoughts on receiving this award he asserted that he has been successful in the film industry is all because of writers and directors who has worked with him in his entire career.

He said, “This is a huge honor for me, Nitesh Tiwari and the entire team of Dangal. I am very thankful to Lata Mangeshkar and Dinanath Mangeshkar Trust and entire Mangeshkar family. A film gets its birth from its writer. This film has garnered so much love and support all over India is because of Nitesh write the script of this film and made a brilliant movie out of it. Whatever I achieved today in the film Industry is all because of writers and directors who have given me opportunity to be a part of their films and work with them”.

Nitesh Tiwari said, “It is great privilege for not just only me or Aamir Khan but for the entire Dangal team to get this honor. I am very thankful for Dinanath Mangeshkar trust for this. I am also very thankful to audience of our country who gave so much love to our film which is not less than an award”.

Apart from Aamir Khan and Former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev received Vishesh Puraskar for his outstanding contribution to the Indian Cricket team in the award ceremony.

Aamir Khan’s Dangal has been one of the biggest hits in 2016. Zaira Wasim, who played Geeta Phogat in the film was honoured with the Best Supporting Actress Award at the National Film Award this year. The film even recieved standing ovation in China this year.

Dangal was based on the story of Mahavir Singh Phogat, and his struggle to train his two daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat to win the Gold medal in the game of wrestling, a sport that is usually dominated by men.

Apart from the Aamir Khan and Kapil Dev, other awardees include legendary actress Vyjayanthimala Bali, also honoured with Master Dinanath Vishesh Puraskar for her achievements in Hindi cinema.

Other awardees include Kishore Deshpande, who presented with Anadmayee Puraskar for his work in social service, Vishwanath Karad, founder, Vishwashanti Kendra presented with Samarpit Jeevan Puraskar, Vijaya Rajadhyaksha will be conferred with Vagvilasini Puraskar for her work in literature and Kaushiki Chakraborty for her work in the field of music.

The event will be organised by Master Dinanath Smruti Pratishthan and Hridayesh Arts.

On work front, Aamir Khan next will be seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan along with Amitabh Bachchan.
