
Neha Dhupia with Vidya Balan and Malishka was present at the launch of PVR- P(XL) on Friday. During media interaction the Neha said, she had an ever-dying wish of sharing the screen with Vidya Balan.
During the Trailer launch, Neha expressed that she wasn't sure about doing 'Tumhari Sulu' while talking about her experience working on the film she revealed more, "Tanuj (Garg) is an oldest and dearest friend of mine, and the film was pitched to me over 3 WhatsApp messages. After that, I went to meet the directors and found it interesting, and also there was the ever-dying wish of sharing the screen with Vidya Balan. She is just so wonderful."
“I think this is one of those films in which everything just falls into place together. I am not just talking about me, if you take music, production or direction, for example, all of it took care of itself. There was nothing that I can say that it didn’t satisfy me as an actor, as a professional and as a person being on a set.”
Vidya who plays the lead Sulu revealed that it wasn’t an easy task to get Sulu’s style of talking right down to a notch; she Suresh Triveni and Vijay Maurya co-writers of the film helped her get Sulu’s dialect right. “Sulu talks before she thinks and she talks really fast. Actually working with Suresh Triveni and Vijay Maurya on that style of talking was very fun, I have actually started to talk very fast, in other languages too.”
Tumhari Sulu is a comical slice-of-life film directed by adman Suresh Triveni for youth and families. Vidya Balan essays the role of a beautiful, enthusiastic and happy-go-lucky Mumbai housewife whose routine life changes when she unexpectedly lands herself with the exciting job of a night RJ (radio jockey) on a leading radio station.
