Sanjay Gupta’s last film ‘Jazbaa’ had received mixed response from the audience, but the director has set new benchmark for his upcoming film Kaabil with Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam, which went on floors today.

Sanjay Gupta recently announced his project ‘Kaabil’ on Twitter. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Yaami Gautam in lead roles.

Sanjay Gupta is collaborating with Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan for the first time on this project, along with Junior Roshan being paired for the first time with Yami.

In the first day shoot picture Resul Pookutty, Sanjay Gupta, Palvi Jaswal, Rakesh Roshan, Sudeep Chatterjee, Sumit Basu and Akhilendra Mishra are posing happily.

The film also stars brothers Rohit Roy and Ronit Roy in negative roles. Touted to be a revenge-love story, ‘Kaabil’ will be shot in Mumbai over a four-month schedule.

Produced by Rakesh Roshan, the film is slated to release on January 26, 2017.
