If the fantasy hero of B-town Hrithik Roshan takes some time off his busy schedule then we could actually see him in a brand new avatar as the brand ambassador of Maharashtra. Two years back, it was Amitabh Bachchan who took on to promote Gujarat and just a few weeks back it was SRK who was roped in by the West Bengal to elate its over-all look and now it’s our Maharashtra government which has joined the bandwidth to get a star force to endorse their state in the world-platform. According to the reports, an agency hired by the government approached Hrithik a few days ago to become the state’s brand ambassador. “They had sent a mail to Hrithik’s team. It was immediately forwarded to him. But he hasn’t been able to take the final call considering his super busy schedule of Krrish 3”, a staff of Hrithik said confirming the news. Apparently the government agency wants Hrithik to take a few days off from his schedule to work on an extensive campaign for the state. “They have plans to shoot a docu-film with him in places such as Kolhapur, Mahabaleshwar, Raigad and Mumbai. Even a photo shoot has been planned,” says a genuine source. However, he further added that Hrithik is busy with Krrish 3 till October.

It’s believed that Hrithik too is keen on working out his schedule to fit in the campaign since he thinks it is a ‘great honour.’ “But everything depends on the schedule. It remains to be seen how they work out the dates considering Hrithik will be busy for another four-five months. So the big question is: will the agency wait till then?” adds the insider. And if all goes well and only if our Duggu takes some time out of his helter-skelter schedule then, maybe he can be the first ever brand –ambassador of Maharashtra. Perhaps, I should say we could get the hottest brand-ambassador ever.
