It’s a well known news amongst the movie buffs, that it was Sonam Kapoor who was approached first for the character ‘Angie’ in the recently released film ‘Finding Fanny’. Sonam was approached much before Deepika Padukone for the character in ‘Finding Fanny’ but unfortunately as Sonam was busy shooting for ‘Khoobsurat’ & due to other work commitments the actress declined the offer which went on to Deepika.


In an interview to a leading daily when asked about the same, Sonam replied, "I never discuss films that I’m not doing, so I would not like to comment on it," The actress further added, "I think the film was really quirky and sweet. Homi (Adajania) is an amazing director, and everybody performed really well. It’s one of those films that I don’t know if everybody can watch, but I enjoyed it."
