Starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, the makers of Gumraah were planning to release the first official teaser on the 29th Feb, but now the issues a new update, the teaser has been postponed and will release soon. 
 
The official handle of T-Series dropped a poster post on social media, and tweeted, “Feeling deceived? You trusted too easily.  Let’s wait a lil longer for that which is worth waiting for. #Gumraah Teaser Out soon. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Productions. The film’s release date of April 7 was recently announced by the makers. And now as they head closer to its release month, the makers are all set to unveil the teaser for the film.
 
For the first time in his career, Aditya will portray double role in Gumraah. This crime drama is a remake of the popular 2019 Tamil film Thadam, which was based on real-life incidents. Mrunal will, on the other hand, play the part of a police officer. 
 
Apart from Gumraah, actor Aditya Roy Kapur is basking in the glory of ‘The Night Manager, his latest Disney+ Hotstar web series. He also has another project with filmmaker Anurag Basu. Aditya is paired with Sara Ali Khan in the film, ‘Metro In Dino’ which will also see Anupam Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal in lead roles.
 
Mrunal Thakur was last seen in Selfiee, she did a special song.
