It happens often that actors are replaced in films, for various reasons, before the shooting begins.  Nevertheless, rarely does it happen that an actor is replaced after already having shot a number of scenes. 

If rumours are to be believed, Govinda, who has already completed a schedule for  ‘Jagga Jasoos’, may now be replaced by Jackie Shroff.

According to media sources, “The makers are planning to rope in Jackie Shroff for Govinda’s role. They haven’t approached Jackie yet as they are still considering the idea. Govinda wanted to make a lot of changes in the script and the makers weren’t very happy about it. Also, there is no clarity about when the film’s next schedule will start and where it will be shot,”

Jagga jasoos, Directed by the Barfi director Anurag Basu. Govinda has been essaying the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s father in the film, which is also co-produced by Kapoor. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and is slated for a mid-2015 release.
