In what is clearly a first of its kind, iconic theatrical Mughal-e-Azam – The Musical seems to have gathered humungous amount of appreciation from the who’s who of Bollywood. The film fraternity is completely swept off by this incredible, one of a kind Musical, and has come out and shown complete support in their own way.

Twinkle Khanna tweeted, “A magnificent stage production #MughalEAzam took my breath away- put in on your list folks.”

Anil Kapoor tweeted, “#FerozAbbasKhan has taken the magnum opus #MughalEAzam to an all-new theatrical height! Just spectacular!

Sonakshi Sinha uploaded a picture of her with the cast of the play and the caption said, “Oh my god! I just saw magic unfold in front of my eyes!! The magnum opus #Mughaleazam brought to life by these talented actors and their entire team!!

Producer Vashu Bhagnani tweeted, “Spellbound after watching @mughaleazamplay. What an amazing production. Kudos #ferozbhai!! What a visual treat-Mesmerized. Must must watch.”

Irrfan who had attended the red carpet took to social media and wrote “Had a great time watching Mughal E Azam. Would love to experience the dialogues and songs again… what brilliance on stage by Feroz Abbas Khan.”

NCPA and Shapoorji Pallonji, the makers of this musical brought the second season of the show this January which comprised of 12 shows. Owing to the stupendous response from the audiences, the makers increased it to 15 shows, all of which are already sold out. The craze around the play is quite evident given that even the 4 pm show on a weekday is sold out. Moreover, the additional show was sold out within 24 hours of the announcement.

With Live singing and performance of all tracks of Mughal E Azam, choreography by Mayuri Upadhya and Mughal era costumes by Manish Malhotra, audiences are enthralled by this majestic play.
