Justice For Priyanka Reddy has gained momentum. The 27 years old veterinarian was raped and burnt in Hyderabad. The country has once again shaken by such heinous crime. While rage has been pouring in one the social media, our Bollywood celebrities also took to their respective social media handles to condemn the brutal act.

Actor Farhan Akhtar pointed out to the fact that how the incident is a dark reminder of how unsafe we have allowed our society to become. The actor took to his social media profile and wrote two part tweet.

He wrote, “What those men did to #Priyanka_Reddy is another dark reminder of how unsafe we’ve allowed our society to become by not delivering swift and telling justice in these cases..! Heart goes out to her family in their hours of unimaginable grief”.

Acting swiftly the authorities has nabbed 4 people in the case, unfortunately there are minors involved in it.

Sharing the second tweet, Farhan Akhtar wrote, “And what is going to be done about the minor allegedly involved if found guilty..? For what it’s worth, I feel that if you’re old enough to knowingly commit a crime this brutal, you’re old enough to face real consequences”.

Meanwhile on the work front, Farhan Akhtar is busy with Toofan, which is an upcoming sports based film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and written by Anjum Rajabali. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Isha Talwar, and Mrunal Thakur in leading roles. It tells the story of a boxer, played by Akhtar, who does hard work for winning a boxing match. Rawal plays the role of Akhtar's coach.
