Actress Sonakshi Sinha says her “family oriented” film choices are not limiting her in anyways, on the sidelines of Khandaani Shafakhana trailer release here in Mumbai.
The entire team of Khandaani Shafakhana, including Sonakshi Sinha, Badshah, Shilpi Dasgupta, Mahaveer Jain and more graced the second trailer launch of the film.
In past, Sonakshi Sinha has said that she will only work in films which are family oriented and an entire family can watch together. So when asked about whether it has been putting constraint or limiting her career.
She said, “I have four releases this year alone, and in my nine years I will complete 25 films, so that is your answer right there. I am not limited in any way, what so ever”
The film talks about “sex” related issues and taboo’s prevalent in Indian society but actress Sonakshi Sinha quips there is more to the film.
Talking about the film, Sonakshi said, “The aim or the effort is to create awareness and get people talking and thinking that, we might consider ourselves a very modern and forward thinking society but we’re still hesitant to say ‘sex’”
“The film also touches’ on many other topics, such as, if you’re a male gynecologist doctor, no one says anything but the way we have shown in first trailer, my own brother in the film objects to me (female) running the sex clinic. So it touches on equality and other elements are said in very nice, funny and entertaining manner”
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Divya Khosla Kumar and Krishan Kumar, also starring Varun Sharma and Annu Kapoor.
