As promised, actor Emraan Hashmi drops the first official trailer of ‘The Body’, a suspense thriller.

The Body is a forthcoming suspense thriller written and directing by Jeethu Joseph. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi, Sobhhita Dhulipala and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie is produced by Sunir Kheterpal under the banner Viacom18 Motion Pictures.

'The Body' is based on its Spanish antecedent. The upcoming film marks the debut of the celebrated Malayalam filmmaker, Jeethu Joseph in Hindi cinema. The story of Joseph's upcoming directorial revolves around a police officer's search for a body gone missing from a morgue.

Viacom18 Studios that has been one of the foremost platforms for notable Hindi films has released the first look of their upcoming release - a suspense thriller in association with Azure Entertainment titled, The Body.

The release date was recently announced and this suspense is set to hit the screens on one of the most notorious days in mythology - Friday the 13th (December).
