
Director Umesh Ghadge refuted the rumor that Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), have insisted a whopping of 150 cuts in the Kya Kool Hain hum 3 so as to be granted an 'A' certificate.
“I will not accept the rumor that censor board has insisted for 150 cuts in the film. I have seen the rumor in some newspaper. Yes, there have been some cuts but I will not like reveal how many cuts are there.” He said at an exclusive interview.
Talking about the 3rd installment of ‘Kya Kool Hain hum’ franchise, the director informed, “We want to release the film with minimum cuts so we took time to discuss the entire thing with censor board. Understanding the importance of the rules of Censor Board we have made some changes. Also they have agreed with us in some points and CBFC has not insisted us for any cuts. The total running time is still 2 hours and 5 mins and will be full of entertainment despite of whatever cuts has made.” He added.
A while back the trailer of the sex comedy Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 that released online made quite a stir and became a hot topic of discussion because of its raunchy adult sequences with many people questioning the ethics of making such films.
Umesh Ghadge had been an assistant of director David Dhawan, who has given us some of the most hilarious and rib-tickling fun films said he didn’t had any script ‘clean comedy’ disclosed that David Dhawan ‘little hesitated about the subject of Kya Kool… but he made him sure the film will be most entertaining.’
Starring Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Mandana Karimi in lead roles along with Gizele Thakral, Claudia Ciesla, Krishna Abhishek, Shakti Kapoor, Darshan Jariwala in pivotal roles Kya Kool Hain hum 3 has been scheduled to release on January 22, 2016.
