Actress Dia Mirza casted her vote in upcoming IIFA awards 2107 on IIFA voting weekend 2017 in Mumbai. During the media interaction, Dia admitted that Ranbir Kapoor is amazing in Sanjay Dutt biopic and she had satisfying experience working with esteemed filmmakers on the film set.

Praising Ranbir, Dia said, “Ranbir is amazing and there are no two ways about it. There has been learning curve working with him. He is supremely talented and down earth person. It was sheer joy and privilege watching him work. Apart from that, Ranbir Kapoor has one of the finest temperaments I have ever worked with and I am sure after releasing the film his popularity and respect as an actor will increase ten folds”.

Few days ago, media leaked films important pictures in which Ranbir was carrying salt and pepper look of Sanjay Dutt, taking jibe at media, Dia Said, “It was upsetting and it was the look which we were saving to reveal much later but we are very overwhelmed with curiosity and excitement of audience for the film but we do wish that media had respected privacy of the film and not reveal look of the film”.

Dia shared her experience in working in the film, she said, “The shoot of the film is going really well. I just completed my last of shoot of work few days ago. It’s an absolute honor to work with such wonderful set of people. I have earlier worked with Rajkumar Hirani in Lagey Raho Munnabhai so I know his capacities as a director but more than that it the combined forces of talent that form making of this film. I can’t wait to reveal more about our character but we are not allowed to do that but overall it’s been a satisfying experience working in the film.”

Talking about her IIFA experience, she said, “New York is one of my favorite cities in the world so I am looking forward to for this year’s IIFA. Each year IIFA takes Indian cinema to new destinations and it is wonderful opportunity for our industry to cut across the globe to celebrate Indian cinema.”

Apparently, Dia Mirza playing the character of Manyata Dutt who is wife of Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt biopic also stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
