The DI and VFX of Tips Films’ Ramaiya VastaVaiya are in progress at Future Works. We have seen Jacqueline Fernandez shows off her long limbs and her killer body in some gorgeous western outfits in almost all of her films. But the Sri Lankan import is in a mood to show off her desi style in her forthcoming venture Ramaiya Vastavaiya.

The movie is a love story directed by ace dance master Prabhu Deva. It stars the Luck babe Shruti Hassan and is the debut vehicle of producer Kumar Taurani’s son Girish Taurani. The film will feature an item song titled Jaadu ki jhappi de de tu abhi and it will feature Jacqueline dancing with newcomer Girish and Prabhu Deva himself. Jacqueline Fernandez was also seen doing an item song for Race 2 called Lat Lag Gayi and Dhanoo in Housefull 2.

 The story will be based on a young man (played by Girish Kumar) who falls in love with Shruti Haasan, who lives on the fields of Punjab. He follows her to her farm, where her elder brother (Sonu Sood) challenges him to produce more seed on their fields. If he wins, he will be allowed to marry her. The film is scheduled to release on June 21, 2013.
