The DI and VFX of Balaji Motion Pictures and Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures’ Ek Thi Daayan are underway at Reliance MediaWorks. Ek Thi Daayan (English translation: There was a witch) is an upcoming Bollywood thriller film directed by Kannan Iyer. The film features Emraan Hashmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin. It is expected to release on 18th April 2013. A song Yaaram from the movie released on 12th March 2013.

Ek Thi Daayan is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj. Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Rush opposite Sagarika Ghatge while Huma was last seen in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana. We last saw Kalki Koechlin in Shanghai with Emraan and Abhay Deol, while Konkana Sen Sharma was last seen in 7 khoon Maaf which had Priyanka Chopra as the main lead.
