Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor just took to his social media profile and showered best wishes and blessing to Ali Murad, son of actor Raza Murad for making his acting debut with Hotstar’s feature film Dheet Patangey.

The next generation of Sri Adhikari Brothers - Ravi and Kailash - are set to entertain the millennial audience with their first offering, a web feature film titled ‘Dheet Patangey’ starring Shivin Narang, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Ali Murad, Hardik Sanghani, Tilotama Shom and Priya Banerjee in lead roles.

Rishi Kapoor took to his social media and shared the first look poster and wrote, “Ali Murad. Grandson of the late Murad sahab, son of my friend and colleague Raza Murad, Ali Murad, makes his debut in “Dheet Patangey” (extreme right with flowers) on Hotstar today. My sincere blessings and wishes to the actor. Make your predecessors proud! Good luck!”

The film has been exclusively premiered on Hotstar. Set against the backdrop of the 1983 and 2011 Cricket World Cup Finals, the film follows four friends on an audacious journey of self-discovery, friendship and love.

Meanwhile on the work front, Rishi Kapoor is teaming up with Deepika Padukone for the Indian adaptation of the 2015 Hollywood film The Intern.

The Hollywood film has Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro in the lead and tells the story of a 70-year-old man named Ben Whittaker who applies to a senior citizen intern program post his retirement.
