Superstar Arjun Kapoor and beautiful Kriti Sanon embark on a historic journey today, as the duo kick-started the principal photography for their forthcoming mega movie Panipat.

Dapper Actor Arjun Kapoor took to his social media profile and shared a poster, which stated that the principal photography has commenced. Excited about sharing the screen space with Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, the leading lady of the film Kriti Sanon also shared details about the new chapter.

The epic historic war drama – Panipat is being directed by Oscar-nominated and National Award winning director Ashutosh Gowariker. The veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure has joined the cast of the film.

'Panipat' will tell the story of what led to the third Battle of Panipat. The fans are particularly thrilled witness yet another historic drama by Gowariker, who has helmed films like 'Lagaan' and 'Jodhaa Akbar' in the past.

'Panipat' will be produced by Sunita Gowariker under her home banner AGPPL in association with Vision World. The film is slated to release on December 6, 2019.
