Filmmaker Anil Sharma celebrates 14 Years of Apne, starring Dharmendra Deol, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, a first ever movie featuring entire Deol clan in one frame.

The film was released in 2007 and now 14 years later, director Anil Sharma calls it a family fair. He took to his social media profile and shared a poster from the movie and wrote, “14 year back...29 June 2007 #APNE released...beautiful family fair at sports backdrop Boxing glove still fresh n touching congratulations...@aapkadharam @iamsunnydeol @thedeol @TheShilpaShetty #kaitreena @KirronKherBJP #APNE2 @DeepakMukut”

Family drama with a backdrop of boxing, the film also starred Kiron Kher, Shilpa Shetty and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The film opened to an excellent response across India and emerged as a hit overseas as well.

Director Anil Sharma is also prepping for the second instalment of Apne, the film will feature three generation of Deol’s – Dharmendra, Sunny, Bobby and Karan Deol.

The team will head to London soon to kick-start the shoot. The second instalment of Apne has been in the works for quite some time. The female leads for the movie have not been disclosed yet.
