Airlift Superstar Akshay Kumar has always maintained a low profile and stayed away from controversies, but this time around the actor supports the decision to hoist the national flag in all central universities in the country.

The actor took to social media account, Twitter, and expressed his views on the human resource development ministry's directive to all central universities in the country to fly the national flag.

“Totally with the decision of the Tricolour being hoisted at all Central Universities and why not it brings out the best in us,inspires us to soar high. ‪#‎TricolourForUnity” wrote Akshay.

The decision to have the national flag atop all the varsities came on Thursday at the meeting of vice chancellors of central universities chaired by HRD Minister Smriti Irani.

On professional front, Akshay Kumar next will be seen in Housefull 3 and Rustom this year and in 2.0 opposite superstar Rajinikanth.
