The audio launch of 2.0 was attended by the complete cast and crew of the film including Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, A.R.Rahman and director Shankar in an epic event in Dubai.

Superstar Akshay Kumar took to his social media account and shared a candid picture from the audio launch along with a mind-blowing video of his entry on the stage.

In the picture entire cast and crew is holding the audio booklet of the movie. The picture was captioned, “And here it is, the moment you all have been waiting for...the much awaited #2Point0AudioLaunch!”

And finally super cool entry of Akshay Kumar was captioned, “At the #2Point0AudioLaunch...good or bad who decides!!! @2Point0movie”

Akshay Kumar received a thunderous welcome when he arrived on stage and the background music played. A.R.Rahman performed Live on stage at 2.0 audio launch much to the joy of the people present there. Amy Jackson, too, performed on a dance number and won many hearts.

The team not only launched the audio but director Shankar shared promotional details about the film. The film 2.0 is slated to be released in January 2018 and the post-production works of the film are currently underway. The teaser will be released in November and trailer in December.

The movie serves as a sequel to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran, and features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.

The film will be shot simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, with an estimated budget of 450 crore. The film's worldwide premiere is scheduled for 25 January 2018, and the film is expected to be released in 15 languages.
