
The 64th National Film Awards announced on Friday morning. Akshay Kumar finally able to win country’s most coveted award and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja won best Hindi feature film.
The Jury members have a tough time selecting the best films; the jury deserve special appreciation, said the Director, DFF India. There were 344 feature films from which the awards were chosen this year.

Best Non-Feature Film: Fireflies in the Abyss
Special Mention (Feature Film): Kadwi Hawa, Mukti Bhavan, Adil Hussain for Mukti Bhavan and Sonam Kapoor for Neerja
Best Tamil Film: Joker
Best Gujarati Film: Wrong Side Raju
Best Marathi Film: Dashakriya

Best Bengali Film: Bisarjan
