Two National Award winner Actors, Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor will be seen sharing screen space in upcoming Padman, and we have new stills straight from the shoot.

Veteran Cinematographer P. C. Sreeram shared still from the sets, he captioned it, “#AkshayKumar #SonamKapoor #PM on the sets of "PM"”

In the picture, Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor are seen in a candid pose, shooting a scene for the film.

Padman is Twinkle Khanna’s maiden film as producer. The movie is a story based on the life of a social entrepreneur, Arunachalam Muruganantham, who took it up to himself to provide low-cost sanitary napkins to women from poor economic strata across rural India.

The movie features Akshay Kumar in the lead along with Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor. The movie is directed by R Balki, the movie will be a fictional account of Muruganantham's life.

It is been reported that Padman, is actually the adaptation of Twinkle’s own novel on Muruganantham. Padman is expected to release later this year.
