Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif did not do one or two films but five films together and each one of them made money at the ticket counter. Three of them, Namastey London, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng, were money-spinners. This hit pair, which has not done a film together since 2009, will finally be sharing the screen once more.

The person who brought this hit jodi together – Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif – is none other than Shabina Khan, whose maiden venture Rowdy Rathore was a money-spinner at the box office.

The said film is, once again, a remake of South film, Ramanna (Tamil), which was remade in Telugu as Tagore. The director is yet to be finalised. This film is expected to go on the floors in October 2013.
