In his next outing titled Ya Rab, actor Azaz Khan will play an Anti-terrorism Squad officer. Earlier seen in Allah Ke Banday with Naseeruddin Shah, Ajaz trained with a real ATS officer.

The film was shot in lucknow and Ajaz spent around 10 days ahead with Mr Khan, an ATS officer. The officer used to carry one gun,10 mobile phones and 5 laptops with him. His laptops used to be on and he kept receiving information apparently.

During this period, Ajaz realised that being an ATS officer is lot more than just physically protecting people. Lots of reponsibility and risk is involved.

Ajaz who has only done negative roles in the past, was looking for a positive one to come his way. This is the first film where Ajaz will be playing a positive character. The role it seems was supposed to be played by Suniel Shetty or Manoj Bajpayee.

Ya Rab is directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala, who had erlier directed movies like The Killer and The train.
