After bagging the National Award, Actor Ajay Devgn has just bagged the most prestigious honor Padma Shri Award.

The government of India conferred him with the highly prestigious Padma Shri award on Monday. Actor Ajay, who was in Bulgaria, shooting to Shivaay, visited Delhi to receive the honor and came back home last night. As expected, on arriving he interacted with those in attendance.

“It is really important because when your country recognizes you for your work, there is no better feeling than that” said Ajay in his interaction with media.

Ajay also talked about not being home for three months and he is looking forward to meet everyone at home to share his achievement.

“So far I have not met anyone; I just got back after three months. I am coming straight from Delhi to Mumbai; it’s been three months since I last came to Mumbai. I was in Bulgaria” added Ajay Devgan.

Ajay also congratulated Amitabh Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut for winning the National Award, which was announced yesterday.

“Best wishes and congratulations to both, and they both deserve it” added Ajay.

On the professional side of things, Ajay was last seen in the critically acclaimed thriller Drishyam. Moreover, a short while ago, the actor was seen playing a small role in Fitoor.

At present, he is gearing up for the release of Shivaay. Directed by Ajay himself, it is touted as an action-drama.
