Film Guru will always remember special for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. It was after the premiere of this film that Abhishek Bachchan had proposed Aishwarya for marriage and rest is history! The film completes 14 years of its release and Aishwarya remembers the D-day of her life.

Sharing a collage of the photos from the premiere, she wrote, "On this day...14 years...GURU FOREVER."

Film Guru is co- written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The film is largely based on the life of India's biggest Industrial tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani. Abhishek Bachchan played the part and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played his wife. Film also starred Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavan and Vidya Balan.  The film was a big hit at the box office.

This film gave us one of the most admired power couple of Bollywood as Abhishek and Aishwarya fell in love on the sets of this film and they got married post its release. It was on the premiere night of 'Guru' that Abhishek took her back to the hotel and proposed her for marriage.

Till date, the couple has appeared in 8 films together and fans are eagerly waiting to watch this couple back on screen together.

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan in the year 2018. She will now be seen in Tamil historical drama Ponniyin Selvan directed by Mani Ratnam. While Abhishek will be seen in Kookie Gulati's 'The Big Bull' which will release on Disney +Hotstar.  He will also be seen in Diya Annapurna Ghosh's 'Bob Biswas' which is a spin off to the 2012 thriller Kahaani.
