Actor Neha Dhupia, who shot the thriller A Thursday while being pregnant with her second child, says she will make sure it will be her son’s first movie, when he starts watching cinema. 
 
Neha Dhupia was interacting with NewsHelpline during the red-carpet gala of Global Fame Awards.
 
Talking about the success of film and shooting while being pregnant, Neha Dupia said, “A Thursday, this project I think will always be closest to my heart, because I did the movie when I was pregnant, and now my son is with me, now every time I’d look at this movie, I’d remember my kids. Above all, the film part with such a strong message” 
 
“I have already made a promise to myself, if and when my children’s cinema, I’d show A Thursday as first movie to my son” added Neha. 
 
Yami Gautam, Dimple Kapadia, Atul Kulharni and Karanvir Sharma starrer A Thursday, is written and directed by Behzad Khambata.
 
Further adding, Neha Dhupia said the movie talks about strong social issue, and she is happy being among handful of leading ladies in entertainment industry, who didn’t take maternity leave and worked. 
 
She added, “It was a tough shot, nothing was easy, shooting in rain is difficult as it is, and I was pregnant, it made it even more challenging. Second wave was ending, I was pregnant and shooting in the rain, so there were a lot of precautions we had to take, but to be honest, nothing changes if changemakers doesn’t support it, I got an opportunity while being pregnant, that is a change. I was pregnant and I didn’t want to take a maternity leave, I wanted to work, and makers of the film gave me that chance to make a difference” 
The film is jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Premnath Rajagopalan under the banners RSVP Movies and Blue Monkey Films.
