Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ is one of the most awaited films of the year.  Many would have wondered why the film is titled as ‘Bombay Velvet’ and what would be the significance of the title! We have the answer to it!

It has been disclosed that, the film gets its name from a nightclub called as ‘Bombay Velvet’. In the movie, it is a nightclub where Anushka is a Jazz singer and Ranbir is the club manager.

Many of the essential events of the film also take place there.

‘Bombay Velvet’ features Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar in the leads. For the first time ever, Karan Johar will be seen playing a full-fledged role in a movie. He will be seen playing a negative role.

The movie’s released two mind-blowing trailers. The trailers received a lot of appreciation from all over. The second trailer of the film was released recently. The film is scheduled to release on 15th May, 2015.

The other stars of the film includes Kay Kay Menon,  Raveena Tandon, Siddhartha Basu, Vivaan Shah, Manish Chaudhary and Remo Fernandes.
