We hope our audiences remember Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Agent Vinod which was directed by Sriram Raghavan. As per our sources we have learnt Sriram Raghavan is gearing up to thrill the audiences with his next. But as far as the star cast of the film is concern as per our reliable sources we have learnt that,  after essaying light hearted roles in movie like ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’  actor Varun Dhawan will be seen in his first dark thriller movie. To be directed by Sriram Raghavan, the movie titled ‘Badlapur’, will have Varun playing one of the most challenging roles of his career, spanning three generations. In fact Varun is lucky, in getting to essay such a complicated character, so soon in his career.


Although the details of the movie are kept under wraps, the movie boasts of an interesting ensemble of star-cast. Apart from Varun Dhawan, actors like Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Yami Gautam will be seen featuring in the movie. According to some reliable sources, while Yami Gautam essays the role of Varun’s wife, Huma Qureshi plays a prostitute’s character in the movie. As for Nawazuddin Siddiqui, he will be seen essaying a key role in the movie’s proceedings. A major shooting schedule of the movie ‘Badlapur’ is currently taking place in Pune, with the movie slated for 2015 release. Sriram’s new movie is being produced by Saif Ali Khan’s banner Iluminati Films. Sriram and Saif, having worked in films like ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ and ‘Agent Vinod’, share a good working relationship.
