Gone are the days where heroes were hesitant to play negative roles, But now it’s exact opposite the heroes of younger generation are ready to portray negative characters if required in their movies. Actors of current generation are not hesitant to play a baddie on screen.

 Now the latest news is that Varun will be shedding his lover boy image & will be playing a serious character in the film Badlapur that too in a negative role.

The movie also stars Huma Qureshi  who will be playing a role of prostitute and the beautiful actress too will be part of the movie as she too has a very important role in the movie. Yami will be seen playing Varun’s wife in the movie.


Badlapur is a action based movie and most of it’s shooting will be taking place at pune. It  is scheduled to release for 2015.
