The preview of Salaam, Noni Appa took place today at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities. During media interaction Hrithik said, Twinkle's Salaam Noni Appa is brilliant.

This story is from Twinkle Khanna’s best-seller The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad that’s being adapted to stage by writer Adhir Bhat.

Twinkle and Akshay Kumar invited Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan, newly-appointed FTTI chairperson Anupam Kher, Kabir Bedi and Praveen Dusanj and director R Balki to the play on Saturday.

Hrithik who attended the play with Ex-wife Sussanne, after the show said, "It was incredible. Twinkle is brilliant, we are so happy for everyone associated with the play. Everyone has done an incredible job. I laughed so much and became teary-eyed, it was just wonderful."

Twinkle was surprised and humbled by the outcome herself, she said, "I am actually very dazed these characters have lived in my head for over 2 decades. And to see them come alive on stage so beautifully it was marvelous. That’s what I told Darshan, I am gratified and I am really happy."

Salaam, Noni Appa is an English play based on a short story written by Twinkle, which is about finding love in old age.

Directed by Lillete Dubey, who also stars in the play. The play also features Jayati Bhatia, Darshan Jariwala, Meher Dar and Rishi Khurana.
