Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has set his entire focus on digital platforms. After producing web series like Maaya, Twisted and Gehraiyaan, he is coming with new web show named ‘Spotlight’. Spotlight’s main lead Sid Makkar and Tridha Choudhary talk about their new venture.

Spotlight is a fictional biopic of a Bollywood starlet featuring Tridha Choudhury along with Sid Makkar. Spotlight brings forward the irony of darkness in the world of glamour, where biggies are always seen in the best of smiles and star studded appearance. It looks like a show that promises to bring forward the grim reality behind the lights, camera and action.

Talking about the whole experience, Sid said, “It’s been a good experience to shoot for this web show. It is a ten part series, each episode will be around 20-25 minutes. This show deals with bollywood star’s personal and behind the scenes life.  Trailer of the show has received superb response. I hope that audience will appreciate this show”.

Talking about relevance digital platform, Tridha said, “India is a huge market for the web content show. Few years ago anyone haven’t even thought that digital platforms will grow with such rapid speed. It is a great initiative because it is very essential in today’s fast paced life. Indian youth doesn’t get too much time to watch Television but if you present your content on digital platform then it is great medium of entertainment for the audience as it is very accessible”.

Sid also admitted that in future he wants to try his hands in production and direction but as of now he is focusing on Acting.

It is produced by Viu and Vikram Bhatt and directed by Sunil Tatari. Spotlight stars Tridha Choudhury, Arif Zakaria, Sid Makkar, Krunal Pandit and Rajesh Khera.
