Actress Shraddha Kapoor who is well known for her singing talent as well, releases the female version of the super hit song ‘Main Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga’ from her upcoming film ‘Half Girlfriend’ and wow’s all her fans.

As we all know that the song had generated strong buzz, it became popular after the audience got a glimpse of it in the film's trailer itself and just because of the public demand the original track was released earlier then it was scheduled

The song, however, is rendered in the film by Arijit Singh and Shasha Trupati and is composed by Mithoon, but Shraddha’s version is titled ‘Main Phir Bhi Tumko Chahungi’

Some days ago there was a music concert held in Mumbai for ‘Half Girlfriend’ and Shraddha was seen singing the song live for which received great response from the audience and therefore the makers decided to release the female version of the song.

Shraddha released the teaser video of the song on Wednesday on twitter with the caption “#PhirBhiTumkoChaahungi out soon! ---> … #HALFGIRLFRIEND #19thMAY ❤️”

On Thursday the whole song was released and Shraddha’s co-star Arjun Kapoor took twitter and shared the video writing
“All hearts for the soulful #PhirBhiTumkoChaahungi! Sung by my #HalfGirlfriend @ShraddhaKapoor! Listen now”

Half Girlfriend is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film based on the novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and features Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 19 May 2017.
