Sharman Joshi, who is all geared up to play the role of police inspector in upcoming erotic drama Wajah Tum Ho, says no one does it better than Amitabh Bachchan as Cop on silver screen.
“Amitabh Bachchan is my favourite Cop. Especially that dialogue, Ye Tumhare Baap Ka Ghar Nahi Hain, Police Station Hai, it was deadly” says Sharman Joshi, talking about his favourite online cop persona of Big B from movie Zanjeer.
Sharman Joshi is playing Cop for the first time on silver screen, through trailer we got glimpse of his quirky and methodical character building and now actor shares the process behind his role.
“I didn’t really take any references for my role. I mean, we already have a mental picture of a cop and overtime, through life experiences you know about cops” adds Sharman.
Sharman Joshi has worked with Wajah Tum Ho, director Vishal Pandya in “Hate Story 3”. And actor admits director also helped him in his character building.
“Vishal kept sharing little nuances and little trait from the very beginning. So I had a mental picture of my character in my head. Through some input and instinct, I built my character” says Sharman.
“I was delight when this movie was offered to me. I had worked with Vishal Pandey earlier in Hate Story 3. This time again, I am offered a new role, police cop, which I have never played before” adds Sharman.
