Boyhood- directed by Richard Linklater is an Oscar award winning movie, based on boy’s growing years from six to sixteen.
Rumor has it, Aryan khan had watched the movie, and fell in love with the movie, in fact he approached his father and asked him to watch the movie. As father and son recommends good books and movies to one another.

And from there, it started, SRK liked the movie, he approached the makers to buy rights for remake, he even asked his son, if he would like to play the role of actor Ellar Coltrane in the original. Boyhood spans over some 16 years, so Abram will play younger role and Aryan for older role, for the same character.

Once the makers of Boyhood give final nod, the hunt will begin for film's director. However, it is been said that SRK is in talks with Manish Sharma, his director of 'Fan' and Rahul Dholakia who he will work with in 'Raees'.
