Debutant of Shivaay – Sayyeshaa Saigal says her character in the film is very close to her real life, at a recent media interaction.

“I don’t think it was difficult to get into my role. Basically it is character of a young girl, who is working. She is independent and very close to her father and I think it is very similar and close to my real life. Because I am also a young working woman, I am quite independent and very close to my family. So linking the Real life to Reel Character was easy for me” said Sayyeshaa during her interview.

Sayyeshaa Saigal plays the role of Anushka, a budding IFS officer at the Indian embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria, in Shivaay.

Ajay Devgn comeback to direction chair, Shivaay, locked horn with Karan Johar directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Sayyeshaa finally opens about the clash.

“I think, if two movies are good, they both will work. If one is better than the better one will work more. People definitely would watch the better film. What is most important for me is Shivaay. And if people watch my movie than my work is being appreciated, which is important for me, as it is my first film” added Sayyeshaa.

Sayyeshaa, who is the grandniece of veteran actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, and daughter of yesteryear hero Sumeet Saigal, has acting in her DNA but unfortunately she lacks the understanding about box-office.

“I don’t know anything about Box-office, I’d to ask people how my movie is doing” says Sayyeshaa Saigal.

“But the comments I am getting on my social media, I feel good because so much of appreciation my debut movie is getting. People are watching my movie, so it is a great feeling” added Sayyeshaa.

Sharing the experience of working with Ajay Devgn, Sayyeshaa, expressed, “The best part about Ajay Devgn sir is his calmness. In spite of being a superstar, he is such a humble person. If you ever have a tea with him, you won’t even realize he is such a big star.”
