Taapsee Pannu is an established actress down south with numerous films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. However, in terms of Hindi films, she is still a newbie. Both her Hindi films have done well at the box-office, ‘Chashme Baddoor’ as well this year’s action thriller, ‘Baby’.

She has also signed a few other films like ‘Runningshaadi.com’ and ‘Abra ka dabra’. Recently, there were rumours that she has signed Aamir Khan’s next film, Dangal. The story is about an emotional bond between ex-wrestler Aamir and his two daughters. According to those rumours, she was shortlisted to play one of those daughters.

However, Taapsee has denied the news. But she wouldn’t mind doing the film and hopes these rumours come true. She was quoted,’ It is you media guys who told me about this. When you guys told me, that’s when I came to know about these rumours. But I haven’t signed the film. Whoever gets that role will be a really lucky girl. And I wish these rumours turn out to be true for me.’
